| The Danube Delta, with an area of 3446 km², located mostly in Dobrogea, Romania and partly in Ukraine, is the second largest and the best preserved of the European deltas. Before emptying into the Black Sea, the Danube splits into three large arms (Chilia, Sulina, Sfântu Gheorghe), between which the wild Delta has formed being a paradise for all kinds of plants and creatures. |
