Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni at a press conference at the Cinematheque at the 4th Annual Jerusalem International Film Festival in Israel on July 3, 1987. Mastroianni, the beloved Italian actor was known widely for his work opposite Sophia Loren under the direction of Vittorio De Sica in `Love Italian Style,` `Marriage Italian Style,` `Divorce Itralian Style,` and `A Special Day.` Among his other successes were starring roles in `8 1/2,` and `La Dolce Vita.` He died in Paris on December 12, 1996 at the age of 72.
