The 16th century Loggia di San Giovanni in Piazza della Liberta in the historic centre of Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, north east Italy. Built 1533-1535 in Istrian stone, it is a blend of Renaissance and Baroque. It features a long loggia with classical columns and rounded arches in front of an open piazza. In the centre is the clock tower (Torre dell'Orologio) with its astronomical clock face
