Leshan Giant Buddha Dafo is UNESCO World Heritage site, located in Le Shan City, Sichuan Province, China. Giant Buddha was built in Tang Dynasty 618–907AD. The Buddha has 71-m 230-ft high and was carved into the red sandstone overlooking the treacherous confluence of the Min, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers below.
