Leshan Giant Buddha (Dafo) is UNESCO World Heritage site, located in Le Shan City, Sichuan Province, China. Giant Buddha was built in Tang Dynasty (618–907AD). The Buddha has 71-m (230-ft) high and was carved into the red sandstone overlooking the treacherous confluence of the Min, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers below.
