Krishna Mandapam is a rock-cut cave temple at Mahabalipuram, Tamilnadu is part of the Group of Monuments and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the open-air-bas-relief dedicated to Lord Krishna built in the mid seventh century. This bas-relief sculpture depicts Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhana Hill on the finger of his left hand to save the people from a deluge caused by rains showered by Indra.
