| The intricately carved Gopuram, or gateway, to the Shri Chanundeshwari temple on the outskirts of Mysuru. It is dedicated to the Hindu deity Durga and can be accessed on foot by climbing one thousand steps to the top of Chamundi Hill. This gopuram, or pyramidial tower, has 7 golden Kalashasa at the top of it to denote that the structure has 7 levels |
