The English theater, film, and television actress and writer greets fans outside the Trafalgar Theater on 41st Street following her performance in `Whose Life is it Anyway? ` Marsh is an Emmy winner for acting in the role of the parlor maid, Rose Buck, in the British period piece series, `Upstairs, Downstairs. ` As a writer she co-created the series and took home the Best Actress Emmy for portraying Rose. The much-loved series was broadcast in the USA on PBS from 1974-1977. Marsh died at her London home on April 13, 2025, from complications from dementia, at the age of 90.
