Double Oscar-winning actor Jack Lemmon signs an autograph after a film discussion at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in April, 1974. A Harvard alum, Lemmon received 8 Academy Award nominations in his over 50-year career of 60 film performances, he won twice. In 1955 he won for Best Supporting Actor in `Mister Roberts.` In 1973 he received Best Leading Actor for his work in `Save the Tiger.` Towards the end of his luminous, prolific career, Lemmon won his second Emmy, for Best Leading Actor in `Tuesdays with Morrie.` Lemmon died in Los Angeles in 2001 at the age of 81.
