Interior of the famous synagogue located in the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba, Andalusia, Spain. One of the main attractions of the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba is the Synagogue. It is located on Judean street Calle de los Judíos, 20, near the cathedral mosque of Mesquita. The Synagogue of Cordoba in Spanish - Sinagoga de Córdoba was built in 1315 and represents a fine example of Mudejar architecture. The construction of the synagogue was led by Isaac Mohed, as evidenced by one of the surviving inscriptions on the wall of the building. But according to archaeologists, the foundation of the synagogue was laid much earlier.
