In the middle of Unirii Square, Timisoara, Romania, conceived in baroque style, rich in figurative elements and remarkable plastic features, the monument was sculpted in Vienna between 1739 and 1740. The statue of the Holy Trinity represents the Virgin Mary, St. John of Nepomuk, the patron saint of Catholics in Banat, Saint Sebastian with arrows in his chest and St. Rochus with a wound in his leg. |
