| Also Known as the Kranner Fountain, is a fountain and neo-gothic monument to Emperor Francis I of Austria, installed in Prague, Czech Republic. It features allegorical sculptures created by Josef Max. After the declaration of the independent Czechoslovakia in 1919 Emperor Franz Joseph I. on the horse was removed from the fountain. After the reconstruction of the fountain in 2003 the replica of the equestrian statue of Emperor Franz Joseph I. was placed on to the memorial again. Also the difficult water inflow was repaired and the fountain became functional again. |
