In a small town (Jabalpur) in India a procession took place which sent out a strong message to all, of the suffering endured by our Lord with an aim to end such hatred and to unite all people of every faith in the love of his fellow man. Many who watched the procession were moved to tears on the realization of the suffering. After fasting for Lent, a congregation of 1 thousand Christians, carrying small crucifixes, followed the scene of Christ carrying the cross, flanked by Roman soldiers and followed by his disciples and Mary Magdalene Hymns were sung as they walked along the major paths of the City of Jabalpur, with the enormous crowd a clear visual symbolism of the crowds which followed our Lord. The procession finally returned to The Holy Trinity Church for a Holy Communion Service on Good Friday.
