In these times of religious and racial tension, in a small town called Jabalpur in India a procession took place which sent out a strong message to all, of the suffering endured by our Lord with an aim to end such hatred and to unite all people of every faith in the love of his fellow man. Many who watched the scene of this re-enactment of Simon carrying the cross for Christ, flanked by roman soldiers were moved to tears on the realization of the suffering. The procession finally returned to The Holy Trinity Church for a Holy Communion Service on Good Friday.
