Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Anthony in Gniezno - inhabited by the Conventual Franciscans of the Province of Gdańsk. An early Gothic church, founded by Przemysł II from around 1270, a two-nave church with a tower from the 15th century, rebuilt in the 18th renovated and 20th century regothised. Currently, the baroque interior mainly in the 18th century. Rococo pews 1760-1770, rococo stalls from 1767. In the main baroque altar there is a painting of Our Lady of Consolation - Lady Gniezno from the first quarter of the 17th century. originally gothic, rebuilt after the fire in 1613. Cross-ribbed chancel vault from the 13th century, reconstructed a similar vault. The ogival windows with tracery are mostly reconstructed. It is located at ul. Franciszkańska, on the Maiden Hill. Inside, considered to be a miraculous image of Our Lady of Consolation, crowned by John Paul II during the papal pilgrimage to Poland in 1997, the relics of Bl. Jolenty, thanks to which a monastery of Poor Clares was built nearby. Parish church from 1925.
