Fontana dei Dioscuri at the Quirinal Palace or Palazzo del Quirinale, Rome, Italy. The Fontana dei Dioscuri was commissioned by Pope Pius VII and was designed using an ancient granite Roman shell that had been found in the 16th century supported on top of a large basin. It was sited in front of the Roman marble "Horse Tamers" representing Castor and Pollux, found in the Baths of Constantine, with the obelisk moved from the Campus Martius between them.
