Pictured is the Field of Empty Chairs, the granite walkway and the reflective pool at the Oklahoma City Memorial. The Field of Empty Chairs is a tribute to the 168 Americans killed in the bombing on April 19, 1995 at 9:02 AM. There are 9 rows of chairs, representing the nine floors of the Alfred P. Murrah Building that once stood here. Each person`s chair is positioned in the row that corresponds to the floor on which they worked or were visiting. The granite walkway was constructed of granite salvaged from the Murrah building.
