Pictured is the 9:01 end wall, reflective pool and granite walkway at the Oklahoma City Memorial. The Field of Empty Chairs is a tribute to the 168 Americans killed in the bombing on April 19, 1995 at 9:02 AM. There are 9 rows of chairs, representing the nine floors of the Alfred P. Murrah Building that once stood here. Each person`s chair is positioned in the row that corresponds to the floor on which they worked or were visiting. The granite walkway was constructed of granite salvaged from the Murrah building. The reflective pool is between wall ends with 9:01AM and 9:03AM.
