Ewuro is a common green and favorite vegetable in Nigeria and possibly other West African nations. It grows in gardens and farms or around homes. Food ingredient. It is bitter but blanching before using it in soups or as food tends to temper the bitterness. Said to have significant health benefits. Cooked with Egusi in palm oil takes the vegetable to a different level.
