Banks a slugger with 512 lifetime home runs, known as “Mr. Cub” and “Mr. Sunshine,” played his entire 19-year big league career with the Chicago Cubs. An 11-time All-Star, 2-time MVP, and Golden Glove winning shortstop, Banks died 8 days before his 84th birthday, in Chicago, on January 23, 2015
