| The equestrian statue of Philip III is a monumental statue located in the center of the Plaza Mayor in Madrid (Spain). It was begun by the Italian sculptor John of Bologna (Giambologna) and completed by his disciple Pietro Tacca in 1616. It was a gift from the then Grand Duke of Florence to the King of Spain. |
