The Weighing House of the dutch town of Alkmaar dates back to approximately 1390 and was originally a Holy Spirit House, a guesthouse for the reception of poor travellers and sick people. At the foreground the canal Luttik Oudorp and tourists upon the Kuipersbrug, behind the bridge the canal Zijdam.
