| Dormition of the Theotokos orthodox Cathedral, Cluj-Napoca (Romania). The church is built in a Romanian Brâncovenesc style, a synthesis of Renaissance and Byzantine architecture. The cathedral is the seat of the Metropolitan of Cluj, Alba, CriÃâ¢ana and MaramureÃâ¢. The cathedral was built between 1923 and 1933. In front of the church is the statue of Avram Iancu, romanian lawyer and revolutionary. |
