| The Vienna City Hall is located in the Innere Stadt district of the Austrian capital. The neo-Gothic building was designed by Friedrich von Schmidt and built between 1872 and 1883. At the top of the tower is the Rathausmann, a 3.5-meter-high golden sculpture representing the figure of a standard-bearer, which has become a symbol of Vienna. |
