The Church of the Theodore Icon of the Mother of God was founded on May 21, 1805, the construction of the temple was completed in 1818. The plan of the church is unusual - the central volume is surrounded on all four sides by semicircular outbuildings. Smolensk church is small. A chapel, a refectory and a gallery are attached to the church from the northern and western sides. There are five domes on the vault covering the church. The hipped bell tower has not been preserved. Architraves have been preserved on the southern facade of the temple.
