| The national Center of art and culture Georges-Pompidou CNAC - collectively called `Georges Pompidou Center`, `Centre Pompidou`, or `Beaubourg Center`, and familiarly `Beaubourg`, is a polyculturel establishment arisen from the will of president Georges Pompidou, big modern art lover, to create at the heart of Paris an original cultural institution completely dedicated to the modern and contemporary creation where the plastic arts would be placed next to bookspounds, design, music and cinema.
