The building of the former Warsaw University library, built in 1888 in classical style, is located inside the University campus on Krakowskie Przedmieście street. Though vandalized by Germans during World War II, the building survived the war and served as a library until 1999. After renovation in 2005 it began new life as a regular didactic building.
