Pictured is a bronze sculpture titled `Boy on a Dolphin` by David Wynne in front of Grayson College, Denison Campus, Texas. It was unveiled in October 1975 in London and was widely considered to be one of London`s most graceful public works of art. The boy featured in the artwork was modelled upon the artist`s son, Roland David Amadeus Wynne who was 11 years old at the time. There are supposedly three casts of the statue, with the 2nd and 3rd located in America, one outside the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and the other on Chestnut Place Plaza in Worcester Massachusetts. I could find no reference to how one ended here on this college campus in Denison, Texas.
