| Pictured is `Voices of Wylie` by Po Shu Wang the late Louise Bertelsen of Living Lenses in the City of Wylie, Texas. The stainless steel interactive sculpture is located in the breezeway between the Smith Public Library and the Wylie Recreation Center. The sculpture conceals an outdoor speaker connected to a keyboard in each facility. Visitors are invited to type their thoughts, expressions, and emotions, which are translated into Braille text dots and turned into musical tones through an electronic sampler. It is part of the City of Wylie Public Art Program. |
