| On the morning of June 19, 1813, British troops attacked, looted and burnt the town of Sodus in Wayne County, New York. This mural by James Zeger commemorates the battle. Connected to this is the wall plague `The Blessing of the Mural` and the church opposite, and the way the shadow of the church spire touches each of the Americans in turn as it transitions across the mural during the Summer Solstice. |
