Bucharest, Romania. 14th July, 2025: Oana Toiu (L), Minister of Foreign Affairs, speaks to Dragos Pislaru (R), Minister of Investments and European Projects, during the debate on the no confidence motion against the government, filed by the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), in the joint plenary session of Parliament. AUR accused the government of "ruining the country and now forcing Romanians to pay the bill" for fiscal measures aimed at reducing the budget deficit, following the assumption of responsibility by the government for the reform package the motion marked a significant failure, receiving just over half the necessary votes.
