Bucharest, Romania. 14th July, 2025: Deputy Prime Minister Dragos Anastasiu arrives at the debate on the motion of no confidence against the government, filed by the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), in the joint plenary session of Parliament. AUR accused the government of "ruining the country and now forcing Romanians to pay the bill" for fiscal measures aimed at reducing the budget deficit, following the assumption of responsibility by the government for the reform package the motion marked a significant failure, receiving just over half the necessary votes.
