Wallabies are smaller than Kangaroos, only reaching a height of around one meter, but many young Kangaroos are often identified as wallabies. This is a wild Grey Kangaroo grazing on the grass of the Currumbin valley. They are marsupials and belong to the macropod species family. Looking directly at the camera, it would not let the photographer get closer than about 15 metres before bouncing off. |
