Plateau Fence Lizard Sceloporus tristichus. Eastern Fence Lizard These insectivorous lizards inhabit cold desert and submontane zones. They require rocky, deep soil areas in shrub or forested habitats with lots of openings to allow basking. Image shows the little guy, sunning himself one afternoon. Almost like he posed for me, and gave an almost arrogant look.
