The Surosowan Palace was built around 1522-1526 during the reign of Maulana Hasanuddin, who later became known as the founder of the Sultanate of Banten. Currently there are no more intact buildings within the palace walls. Leaving only the ruins of the walls and foundations of dozens of square-planned rooms. Located at Serang City, Banten Province, Indonesia. |
