From time to time a sea creature will wash ashore. This dolphin would have gone unnoticed had it not been for a family of eagles feeding on it for a few days, drawing attention to it. Once the eagles had finished and went on their way, the bones were gently cleaned and fitted back together with wire and is now on display. Cetacea. Delphinidae, part of the suborder Odontoceti. Delphinids. |
