The Mittelmosel area is a rather wide part of Mosel valley. At the village Ürzig and Zeltingen-Rachtig the Hochmoselübergang crosses the vineyards valley. The high bridge looks like an Autobahn, but is just a kind of interstate road. The small wine making villages below with their steep vineyards look tiny and beautifully old fashioned compared to the modern concrete giant.
