Longqing Valley Scenic Area,The famous Beijing Longqing Valley scenic area is 11 kilometers to the north of the Yanqing County, Beijing, China. Dubbed Mini Lijiang River and Mini Three Gorges, it is famous for it’s picturesque scenery. In 1986, it was listed as one of the New Sixteen Beijing Scenic Spots. It is characterized by marine sedimentary sequence and sedimentary structures 1.4 billion years ago, and typical North-China type karst landformsince 40 million years ago. The material base of longqingxia Area is the Mess-and Neoproterozoic marine carbonates 1.4 billion years ago.
