| Jeanne-Claude and Albert Maysles attend a press conference at the 6th Annual Tribeca Film Festival for the film, The Gates, in New York, on May 1, 2007. She collaborated with Christo on large environmental works of art over the decades until her death in 2009. Maysles, a renowned documentary filmmaker as well as director/producer/cinematographer, died in his Manhattan apartment at age 88 on March 5, 2015. In 2013 he won the National Medal of Arts. |
