These are all being built in the new Hod Hasharon Park.nThe construction of the new Hod Hasharon Park, covering an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹about 1,400 dunams, is continuing as part of a large-scale urban project to revitalize the city`s rivers, at the center of the park - the largest ecological lake in the country with an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹27 dunams.nThe water that will flow into the stream and reach the lake is treated in the two green basins of the city, which are the first stage of the project and are already operating as a water purification and environmental learning center. The green basins, which were built about a year ago, cover 40 dunam of water and the water from the purification plant undergo biological upgrading procedures by unique plants, with the completion of the project, the purified water will be piped underground to the upstream stream, A 1,500-meter-long natural stream that will include over 30 small flora and riverbeds along its length.
