Headly was a stage, screen, and Emmy-nominated tv actress who gained prominence as a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre ensemble in Chicago in the 1980s, winning 3 Joseph Jefferson theater awards in that town. The actress went on to establish a Broadway career as well. She died in Santa Monica, California on June 8, 2017 at 62 from a pulmonary embolism. |
