Smokey looking vents exude noxious gasses in the form of clouds of steam from deep in the earth from volcanic sources. This area is called Steamboat Point and is located right at the waters edge of Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. Skies are blue with some clouds forming to the east and a haze from smoke from Canadian wildfires obscuring the distant mountains of the Absaroka range.
