Pictured is a bronze statue titled `Mean Joe Green` by sculptor Brian Hanlon at the entrance to Apogee Stadium of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. It was unveiled September 29, 2018. A consensus All-American in 1978, Joe Green was drafted fourth overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he was considered the greatest defensive tackle to ever play the game. |
