Béziers is a city in southern France. It is a sub-prefecture of the Hérault department in the Occitanie region. Every August, Béziers hosts the famous Feria de Béziers, which focuses on bullfighting. The five-day event attracts a million visitors. The city is located on a small cliff above the Orb River, about 10 kilometers from the Mediterranean coast and 75 kilometers southwest of Montpellier.
