Peduncles are numerous, crowded, up to 45 cm tall, densely pubescent with light and reddish hairs. The sepals are densely pubescent with dark brown or reddish hairs. Flowers are 3-6 cm in diameter, often white, rarely sulphur-yellow, sometimes orange. Boxes 1-1. 5 cm long, oblong-obovate.
