Prunus yedoensis Matsum is a tree plant in the magnolia and rose families, with a height of 4-16 meters and a gray bark. Branchlets light purple brown, hairless, tender branches green, sparsely pilose. Winter buds are ovoid and hairless.Originating from Japan, cultivated in gardens in many parts of the world and cities such as Beijing, Xi'an, Qingdao, Nanjing, and Nanchang in China. The flowers are dense and pink in color, and can be planted alone or in groups in courtyards, parks, lawns, lakesides, or residential areas.
