Local people have earn their living by arrange yak riding for tourist around One of the major attractions of East Sikkim is the widespread lake of Tsongo or Changu. Communities, Cultures, Religions and Customs of different hues intermingle freely here in Sikkim to constitute a homogeneous blend.
The lake is almost at a distance of over 45 kms from the city of Gangtok. During winter it freezes and the temperature falls below zero. You can find local villages near the lake. |
