Women`s March on Washington, January 21, 2017: A record number of demonstrators descended on the nation`s capital to rally against the recently-inaugurated President of the United States, Donald Trump. This worldwide, grassroots movement was a series of political rallies organized for women`s rights as well as a myriad of other causes threatened by President Donald Trump`s rhetoric. It is about 2:30PM on the National Mall. Here, Amnesty International is represented among the protesters. This group is holding small signs and a large banner. The large banner says, `We Are Human Rights Defenders`. The smaller signs say, `Our Rights Are Human Rights` and `I Am A Human Rights Defender`. In the distance, the United States Capitol looms above the crowd.
