| Winningen is a village in lower Mosel valley near Koblenz. Above the village wide steep terraced vineyards cover the hills to the Eifel side of the river valley. The beautiful waterfront area has several place for cruise ships to stop. The historic village center had streets with vine growing across and many historic buildings. Though Winningen is quite touristic, it still has the flair of the old Mosel valley tradions with their French influence. |
