Müden is a small village in Mosel Valley. At the village a river lock complex calm the Moselle river. Through the vineyard hills above, a winding serpentine road leads to Müdener Berg, a settlement on the Eifel hills being part of the village. This area of the lower Mosel valley, called Untermosel, is knwon for the steep and terrace vineyards and small winemaking village with a winery around the corner.
